Winter’s first blast of snow is here for most of southwestern Utah.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning that will run until this afternoon for northern Washington County and all of Iron, Beaver and Millard Counties. Forecasters say up to eight inches of snow could be on the ground in spots by the time the sun sets tonight. The snow is expected to taper off gradually tonight with low temperatures dipping into single digits in spots as well.
