Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes wants to protect us from ourselves and keep gerrymandering
“The brief signed by the attorneys general — all Republicans — argues basically that partisan gerrymandering is not unconstitutional. . . Reyes is one of 16 state attorneys general who have signed an amicus, or friend of the court, brief supporting partisan gerrymandering in Gill vs. Whitford, a lawsuit challenging the way the Republican-controlled Wisconsin Legislature drew political boundaries in 2011. The U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the case next month.”
