Tinder rolls out 37 new gender identity options in massive update
Latest update will roll out more gender options for users to select from
It comes as part of efforts to address previous issues for trans users
The update was launched today fro Tinder users in the UK, US and Canada
Tinder has introduced an update to increase the number of genders on its app under its #AllTypesAllSwipe campaign.
The move follows criticism of the app for being transphobic by only offering male and female options for users.
As part of the new update, Tinder will introduce 37 new gender options for users to identify themselves including ‘Transgender’, ‘Trans woman/man’ and a tailored gender, such as ‘Trans…x’.
