The Book of Mormon contains a prophecy that the people of the United States would be confronted with the rise of a class of ‘organized crime-like’ politicians dedicated to power and gain and the maintenance of that power by force, violence and deception.

Worse, the people of America would embrace these depraved philosophies and ideologies and would uphold this systemically corrupt government.

The people would “believe in their works,” “partake of their spoils,” and “join with them in their secret murders and combinations.”

Later, in the Book of Mormon, a prophet named Moroni would warn that when these “things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation,” and that “whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people, for it is built up by the devil, who is the father of all lies; even that same liar who beguiled our first parents, yea, even that same liar who hath caused man to commit murder from the beginning; who hath hardened the hearts of men that they have murdered the prophets, and stoned them, and cast them out from the beginning.

”Following up on this theme, in 1833, Joseph Smith put forward the Word of Wisdom – a law of health – where he warned that because of “evils and designs which do and will exist in the hearts of conspiring men in the last days, I have warned you, and forewarn you, by giving unto you this word of wisdom by revelation.”

Obedience to this Word of Wisdom came with a promised blessing for the “last days,” that “the destroying angel shall pass by them, as the children of Israel, and not slay them.”Stay healthy. Stop supporting corruption.
