Sex Offender Wanted In Oregon Arrested In Southern Utah.
A registered sex offender wanted in Oregon remains behind bars in Washington County today. Robert Freier made his first court appearance yesterday morning on a failure to register as a sex offender charge following his Monday morning arrest in Ivins. Authorities believe Freier had been living at a home in Ivins for more than half a year before his arrest. The 48-year old was convicted on an attempted rape charge in California in 1991 and two public indecency counts in 2006 and 2012.
