Rehab Work In Areas Burned By Brian Head Fire Underway.
Crews have started work to help foster plant growth in areas scorched by the Brian Head Fire. The Spectrum reports the three-million dollar treatment of the area includes nearly 60 tons plant seeds for the five-thousand acres most damaged by the fire. Straw mulch is also being put down in areas to help growth of the new seeds and plants that have already started to sprout. Officials will also put seeds down on another 20-thousand or so acres this fall.
