A recent Quinnipiac University poll found that 82 percent of Democratic respondents are in favor of banning semi-automatic weapons.
The poll question did not elaborate what that would specifically mean, but at face value, it would ban a significant amount of legal firearms in the United States.
But the media ignored this poll result and instead reported on other news, ignoring how supporters of a major political party want to roll back Second Amendment protections.
