Another view or perspective on censorship.

We were lulled into using Google (Spookle), Fakebook, Twit-ter, and all the rest because they dominated the marketplace.

Why did they dominate so quickly and so superbly? And perform the best? Because they were contrived and built with our tax dollars behind the scenes, and they have been controlled by entities in our government as they were hidden behind the “private company” banner. The public thought they were privately ran. They never were. Fakebook was called Lifelog and built by the CIA before it became Fakebook.

They aren’t the only options- they are the just the most popular options. They censor us because we are all playing in THEIR playground, playing with their new, shiny toys.

They aren’t censoring our free speech. They are censoring free speech that they have control over.

There’s a difference.

So, walk off their playground if you don’t like their rules. Don’t give them the power. Or stay on their playground and talk more in code. Make up rules they can’t control.

But don’t confuse playing on their playgrounds with them controlling everything. They don’t. They don’t control all of our free speech. Just the speech we have HERE, or on TWIT-TER. And they manipulate our searches on Spookle because they can, because we use their search engine the most.

Don’t give them any more power than they think they have. They had the shiniest, newest, biggest playground and we all we all decided to check it out. And we liked it. It took a decade to lull everyone into Fakebook because change takes time. It will take time to get used to changing this habit. So let’s start walking away. It won’t happen overnight but it will happen and momentum will swing away from here over time if we want it too.

We can leave. No one is making us stay. Don’t we know by now that anytime something becomes this popular, this quickly, runs this smoothly, and has the best, easiest platform to use- that it belongs to those with the endless money streams? Those that manipulate us using our money?

We need to stop being defeatists, leave their playgrounds and realize our freedom is not always within their control. The corralled us here like sheep. They enticed us here. This is not the only way we can communicate. They want us to think it is.

Stop whining that Facebook isn’t uplifting with enough cute messages of rainbows and lollipops for you. We are using Fakebook to communicate about what government is doing as we start to leave in mass.

They don’t control all free speech. That’s nonsense.

They only can control the speech that we let them control.
