Congressman Chris Stewart calls for a strong Air Force
Member of the U.S. House of Representative, 2nd District, Chris Stewart reported to the Washington County Republican Party Lincoln Day Breakfast at the Saint George Dixie Convention Center, and some four hundred attendees. As an Air Force pilot of the B-1, he noted in his active tenure the Air Force had 155 squadrons but now only has a third of that number, yet the United States is the leader of the free world, and needs to protect the peace. His biography mentions fourteen years as a pilot in the Air Force, flying both rescue helicopters and the B-1B bomber. He holds three world speed records, including the world’s record for the fastest non-stop flight around the world. Chris now serves as a member of House Appropriations Committee and the House Intelligence Committee. As such, he discussed the FBI and Department of Justice lying to the FISA Court to peep on the Trump Campaign and transition. He didn’t use the word peep, but it describes the lurid activities of the highest officers of the Obama administration. Congressman Stewart served in the LDS Texas mission.
