Communications Center Ditches Flip Cards For Digital System.
Dispatchers in the Saint George Communications Center have a new system to use for 9-1-1 calls. The 9-1-1 center started using the Pro-Q-A system yesterday, a digital system that generates questions for the dispatcher. Saint George News reports this system should improve response times compared to the old flip card system dispatchers had been using. The center took about a year to complete the transition.
