Bernie Sanders Blasts “America’s Sheriff”…. He Just Went Too Far
The independent Vermont senator and self-proclaimed socialist Bernie Sanders was recently in Arizona to court the leftist and illegal immigrant vote as part of his campaign for the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination.
During an event on Thursday near Flagstaff, Sanders utilized the opportunity to take a swipe at two very prominent politicians in the state, Gov. Doug Ducey and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, according to KTVK.
Speaking about his wife Jane’s unannounced visit to Sheriff Joe’s tent city prison, in which she was met and led on a tour by the man who runs it himself, Sanders declared, “My wife visited Tent City and he crashed that. He came and ambushed her.”
