Authorities Considering Charges Against Man Who Stockpiled Explosives
Prosecutors are considering charges against a man who they say stored explosives inside multiple illegal bunkers and structures. Investigators with the Iron County Sheriff’s Office reported yesterday the explosives were first found while firefighters were battling the Brian Head Fire earlier this summer. Investigators reportedly found ammunition, explosive powders, inert grenades and also large food stores. The unnamed man who the bunkers belong to is cooperating with authorities but he could still be charged with building the structures on public land and hoarding the explosives.
