By Ed Wallace, March 2, 2016 – 11:55am
In a press release, Mitt Romney stated that he will speak on “the state of the 2016 presidential race,” Thursday at 9:30 a.m. MST on Thursday at the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics Forum. This is the same day of the GOP debate in Detroit.
Romney has denounced Donald Trump and has questioned his fitness to be commander in chief. There has been recent speculation that Romney will enter the race, most notably from Roger Stone at Fox News.
Will he or won’t he? He wouldn’t…. would he?

One way for Romney to enter the race would be on a ticket as Vice President with Cruz or Rubio. He has already endorsed Rubio which makes it doubtful Cruz would consider him. So I have asked, and watched a little tv…. The question many Americans might have is will the big one care about the small one, the average or the poor, the black, the white, the minority, the woman… or so that was a big push during the last campaign. This campaign seems very bizarre. Clinton appears a bit incompetent with the internet security and Bengazi, so full of words and jargon. Trump is crazy, like a sports fan at a football game who yells but he does it alone, and it is not becoming of a President to act like that… a bit of a bully. What are the rules if Romney were to enter the race? Could he run on the republican ticket or would he have to run as an independent? Would the republicans who doused him in the last campaign with criticisms and complaints decide to support him since there really isn’t too much of a choice?
