Ted Cruz May Be Close To Choosing A Running Mate
The primary election is far from over (that’s an understatement), but apparently that doesn’t stop the candidates from considering who they’d like to have as a potential VP.
According to this, sources from the Ted Cruz campaign have indicated that Carly Fiorina is being vetted as a likely candidate for Cruz’s running mate, should he come out with the nomination. And seeing as Carly was once in my top three choices for president (along with Ted Cruz), I think this is a FABULOUS idea! From the article –
Carly Fiorina is being vetted by Ted Cruz’s campaign as a possible vice presidential pick, Sarah Isgur Flores, a senior strategist to Fiorina, told ABC News. Flores said no offers have been made at this time. Fiorina, a former Hewlett-Packard CEO and Republican presidential candidate, endorsed Cruz shortly after suspending her own bid for the White House earlier this year.
