Reporters Are All Smiles On Board Hillary’s New Plane

Reporters were all smiles when Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton finally let them fly with her.
A picture snapped of the fawning press corps shows a sea of smiling faces, including NBC’s Andrea Mitchell, CNN’s Dan Merica and CBS News’s Nancy Cordes, intently staring at Clinton.

Clinton greets everyone, says she’s “so excited,” awkwardly tells one person “I think it’s pretty cool, don’t you?” and then everyone giggles.

The former secretary of state had been using a private jet up until Monday, which was 64 days before the elections and 275 since her last press conference. She had a formal press conference on the plane, which was interrupted at one point by a coughing fit. A previous fit hours before at a Cleveland rally lasted two minutes. The 14-year-old Boeing 757 will carry Clinton, her staff, reporters and secret service in three cabins, Yahoo reports.

With “Stronger Together” painted in bright blue on the side, the plane made its big reveal in Westchester, N.Y., and traveled to the Quad Cities — four counties in Iowa and Illinois — and Ohio.
