Harper topped the list last legislative session by carrying 26 bills. Bramble had 21, Weiler, 19 and Thatcher, 13. . . “At 83 bill files open, your ability to have your bills drafted is being impeded,” Hughes said, referring to the unnamed senator. “It is impeding our ability to represent our districts when we have so many bills being filed and taking so much staff time to do those bills in the large numbers that are being filed.”
