New York Votes On Tuesday, Here’s How The Polls Are Shaping Up
New Yorkers head to the polls on Tuesday, and it’s expected to be a YUGGGGGE day for Donald Trump. That’s his turf. He’s going to win. While it won’t seal the deal and guarantee that he’ll reach 1,237 before the convention, it’ll put him back on track.
There’s no hope of Cruz or Kasich catching him in the state. By some estimates, they’re 30+ points behind. It’s a shame too, because New York has a lot to offer, delegate wise– 95 to be exact.
While neither has a realistic path to victory in the state, there is one way Cruz and Kasich could stop Trump’s momentum. They need to keep him from getting over 50% of the vote. If they can do that– stop Trump from getting the majority– the delegates will be distributed proportionately…..read more here
