Nancy Reagan was ’embarrassed’ by the current crop of Republican candidates
Former first lady Nancy Reagan was supposedly ’embarrassed’ by the current crop of Republican presidential hopefuls, it has emerged.
She also was allegedly appalled at Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain picking Sarah Palin, then the Republican Governor of Alaska, to be his running mate during the 2008 presidential campaign.
Reagan, wife of the late President Ronald Reagan, died March 6 of congestive heart failure. She was 94 years old. A funeral for her was held Friday in Simi Valley, California.
