Why Is The Media Ignoring The Trump Administration’s Crackdown On Sex Trafficking?

Because it would distract from their constant beating of the “RUSSIA!” narrative, that’s why.

According to this, since Donald Trump took office on January 20, there have been over 1,500 arrests made in connection with sex trafficking and pedophilia. Just for comparison, there were only 400 such arrests made in the ENTIRETY of 2014.

So, Trump speaking out against sex trafficking and stopping these monsters wasn’t just idle talk, then? He actually wanted to do something about it? HOLY CRAP WILL WONDERS NEVER CEASE? –

“Got to do something about these missing children grabbed by the perverts. Too many incidents – fast trial, death penalty.”

My suspicions were confirmed on Feb. 23 when Trump gave a press conference from the White House addressing how human trafficking is a “dire problem” domestically and internationally. He gave further confirmation when he said: “Dedicated men and women across the federal government have focused on this for some time as you know — it’s been much more focused over the last four weeks.” Trump’s press conference was barely a blip in the mainstream media and the massive arrests have been almost completely ignored by the MSM altogether.

The article at TownHall goes through and lists some of the major sex trafficking arrests from just this year –

-On Jan. 27 authorities arrested 42 in a human trafficking operation in Tennessee.

-On Jan. 29 authorities announced that 474 were arrested in a statewide California human trafficking operation and 28 sexually exploited children were rescued.

108 were arrested from Jan. 18 to Feb. 5 in Illinois as part of a national sex trafficking sting operation.

178 people were arrested in Texas for sex trafficking in sting that operated in January till Super Bowl Sunday.

16 people were arrested in January in Michigan for sex trafficking during the Detroit Auto Show.

-In February, authorities arrested 11 in Virginia in a child sex sting.

-On Feb. 14 the Polk County sheriff announced that 42 were arrested in Florida in child pornography related cases.

And we’re only in the beginning of March, you guys. Trump hasn’t even been in office two whole months! Certainly, there is more work to be done in completely ending the sex trafficking industry. Law enforcement and other organizations dedicated to eradicating this evil have a big job ahead of them. But this is a fantastic start! This should be MASSIVE news. CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC – everyone should be celebrating this! Or at least covering it like a serious news story.

But they’re not. Part of me (the really cynical part) thinks that it’s because this is good news and the media can’t be bothered to share good things that are happening (what, pray tell, could be better than busting up sex trafficking rings?) Add that in to the fact that the media would rather chew rusty thumbtacks than report anything positive in connection with the Trump White House… yeah, I have little faith in the media anymore (that’s putting it mildly).

Besides, the media had Milo’s total non-endorsement joke about pedophilia to hammer, all the while pretending that they actually gave a crap about victims of pedophilia and sex crimes – read more here
