On Tuesday, House Speaker Paul Ryan put the rumors to rest. No matter what goes down at the RNC Convention this summer, he won’t have any part of it. He’s not going to be the Republican nominee. They’re not recruiting him. He won’t allow it.
I’m glad he finally put those rumors to rest. It was getting pretty old.
With Ryan out of the way, Marco Rubio supporters are getting hyped up, launching the “Nominate Rubio” campaign. Basically, his supporters are urging delegates to rally behind Rubio in a contested convention scenario. There’s a petition and everything.
