As we said before, knowing that Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio are such close friends and political allies, and regardless of all the dirty politics that have transpired between their two respected Presidential campaigns, it was only a matter of time before one of the two would support one or the other.

Jeb donors are now flocking to Rubio, as expected, and many of Bush’s endorsees are now also endorsing Rubio, including the Miami congressional delegation of Reps. Carlos Curbelo, Mario Diaz-Balart, and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

Both men are expected to meet very soon period to discuss a possible endorsement. What does Rubio’s political mentor plan to do next?

According to the FiveThirtyEight endorsement tracker, Bush had 34 endorsements, some amongst respected U.S. representatives, including the aforementioned Miami congressional delegation when he ended his Presidential campaign this past Saturday. Rubio has been able to garner a whopping 138 endorsements, including former Senator Bob Dole (KS), Senator Orrin Hatch (UT), and Gov. Asa Hutchison of (AK).
