House Of Representatives Weigh In On Obama’s Immigration Problems

As reported by CNN, the measure passed 234-186 with five Republicans opposing it.
Immigration has become a hot topic for the 2016 presidential races. Members of both parties have blamed each other for problems in the current system and for Congress’ inability to pass any significant legislation to address the issue.
Ryan argued the rare move to weigh in on the case, U.S. v. Texas, et al, on behalf of the entire House of Representatives was more about preserving the position of the legislative branch of government than advocating his party’s position on immigration.
He said:
This is not a question of whether we are for or against a certain policy. Members who are here making immigration policy arguments are missing the whole point here. This comes down to a more fundamental question. It is about the integrity of our Constitution.
The President’s actions in regards to immigration have widely been considered unconstitutional.

We need to be careful here. Ryan and other Establishment personnel are not opposed to Amnesty IN CONCEPT. They only are opposed to the fact that it can be easily overturned by the likes of a President Trump with the ease of an executive action.
No, they want a more IRONCLAD Amnesty, an act-of-Congress amnesty, one not so vulnerable to repeal in the way I have explained.
It is why Rubio was there. His mission assignment from the Establishment was to gain the presidency and then cajole, con and falsely guilt the American people into accepting his Gang of Eight bill.
This is a show vote so House members can go home in the 26 states and claim that they support Texas in this lawsuit. However, the amicus brief is even more cynical than that. They voted to fund DACA in the omnibus budget. Their support is more than worthless because, the Court could use this to say that it is constitutional because congress funded it.
