Hiker Rescued In Half Day Long Rescue
Hiker Rescued In Half Day Long Rescue.
A hiker is safe today after a nearly half day long operation to rescue him on Pine Valley Mountain. Search and rescue crews began their operation late Monday evening after the hiker texted his brother to tell him he was stranded on a ledge. Rescue crews had to make their way down a 400 foot cliff to get to the man, who had become dehydrated and exhausted. The man was hoisted back to the top of the cliff early Tuesday morning and able to go to his brother’s home after being checked out by emergency crews.
