Former Sheriff’s Deputy Agrees To Plea In Abeyance For Misappropriating Funds.
A former Iron County sheriff’s deputy accused of using a county gas card to fill his personal vehicle agrees to a plea in abeyance. Prosecutors filed charges against Galen Allred in September and he agreed to the plea earlier this week. If he’s able to pay an 800-dollar fee and isn’t arrested again, prosecutors will also drop a misuse of public money count.
