Common Scam Targeting Rocky Mountain Power Customers
Rocky Mountain Power wants you to be aware of a common scam making the rounds to its customers. The utility says people are calling customers, claiming their power will be shut off if they don’t quickly make a payment on a balance owed. Rocky Mountain Power says some customers have fallen victim already and forked over credit card numbers. The utility reminds you they would never make threatening phone calls and will always work with you to repay any money owed. You’re asked to call the company if you get any call you believe could be a scam.
