Car vs. Traffic Pole Accident Knocks Out Washington City Power
The lights are back on in Washington City after a car versus power pole accident. Investigators say the car hit the pole on South 100 East yesterday afternoon, knocking out power in numerous areas. The city’s power department didn’t say exactly how many homes lost power but it was back on a few hours later. No word on what led to the accident or whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
