A ‘priceless’ historic guitar was destroyed in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Hateful Eight’
Guitars should tread carefully on a Quentin Tarantino set.
A historic Martin guitar was reportedly smashed to bits on the set of the Hateful Eight during a scene between Kurt Russell and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Leigh’s character, Daisy Domergue, plays the 1870s-era guitar and sings during one scene — but then Russell, still in character as John Ruth, grabs it and smashes it.
Whoops.
