New Grocery Store Evacuated Due To Faulty Sprinkler System.
Just over a week ahead of its opening, the new Smith’s Marketplace in Saint George has a water problem. Fire crews evacuated the building late Saturday out of an abundance of caution when the sprinkler system went off. Saint George News reports crews discovered a pipe had sheared off and the sprinklers then turned on. Damaged was limited to a small part of the store on South Mall Drive.
